RETTAISUZHI- A REVIEW
When I went to Rettaisuzhi, I expected the directorial legends would be dominating the movie and rest will get un-noticed. But to my surprise, it’s the direction, screenplay & locations that were on par with the lead cast of Sigaram & Imayam of Tamil Cinema.
Well to say about the story it’s very simple. Clashes between two biggies in a village which go up to the third generation, Aari and Anjali who are being bought up by Balachander and Bharathiraja respectively fall in love with each other which the oldies don’t accept. The kids, who were rivals till then, join hands together to help their love.
Overall, the sentiments, powerful sharp dialogues (not punch dialogues), excellent performance by the cast make the movie a worth watchable one. It can be called a gem amongst the regular masala flicks which are making the audience get feared to come to movie halls for watching the movies.
Though the screenplay needs to be crisper and editor has to cut down few scenes, the performances of the legends overshadow it and the locations, direction too overshadows.
After Pasanga, it’s a note worthy movie that has targeted kids and the families can also enjoy the movie well.
